Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) is on track to launch two new properties in Saudi Arabia despite the challenging climate brought forth by COVID-19.
The hospitality giant will debut its fast-growing midscale Park Inn by Radisson brand in both Jeddah and Riyadh.
Park Inn by Radisson Jeddah Madinah Road and Park Inn by Radisson Riyadh are fresh and energetic hotels offering fabulous food and vibrant environments, connected through design, technology and social spaces. Both properties are ideal for business and leisure travellers alike.
Thrilled with the news, area senior vice president – Middle East and Africa, Radisson Hotel Group, Tim Cordon said: “We are delighted to continue opening hotels, especially during this unprecedented time. Our teams are working tirelessly to keep these hotel openings on track, despite the challenges the pandemic presents.”
Cordon continued: “Radisson Hotel Group aims to supplement the Saudi market with modernised and exceptional hotel experiences across leisure, dining, fitness, wellness and sustainability. Our aim is to become the go-to hotelier for local guests and business travellers whilst empowering the Saudi working population simultaneously. As a strong advocate of balanced leadership, we were the first hotel group to appoint a Saudi female general manager in the Kingdom.”
Radisson Hotel Group appointed Maram Kokandi as the general manager of the Park Inn by Radisson Jeddah Madinah Road, making hospitality history. Kokandi is now the world’s first female Saudi general manager.
Boasting a healthy pipeline of openings, RHG recently announced 15 new hotel signings across EMEA in Q2, 2020, six of which fall within the Middle East and Africa region.
The Group signed for its second Radisson Collection property in Riyadh, the Mansard Riyadh, which is focused on meeting the demands of business travellers. It will comprise 140 hotel rooms, 27 serviced apartments and 24 three-bedroom villas.
Meanwhile, the group’s first Radisson Collection hotel within the Kingdom, the Nofa Resort Riyadh, a Safari-style resort with 57 luxurious bungalows and villas overlooking Nofa Wildlife Park, is now publicly bookable via www.radissonhotels.com.
