Raffles Dubai has opened its arms to two new staff members: Evita Chidiac, who has been appointed the director of rooms, and Marina Kutskaya who is the new spa manager.
In her new role of director of rooms, Chidiac will now oversee all rooms division functions at the luxury hotel. She is tasked with leading the teams to elevate guest satisfaction scores towards commercially impactful outcomes. She assumes her new challenge with 15 years of managerial experience in luxury hospitality and joins from the Arlo Soho hotel in New York City, where she worked as the director of rooms and was a pre-opening team member.
Kutskaya, the new spa manager, will oversee the spa, fitness centre and pool operations. She assumes her new position with a decade of experience and started her career in Ukraine before moving to Dubai in 2013 to work at the Armani Hotel Dubai as a spa supervisor. She was soon promoted to assistant spa manager and joined the Melia Desert Palm Boutique in 2016 as spa manager, where she launched a new spa concept for the brand.
Managing director, Raffles Dubai, Ayman Gharib enthused on their appointment: “We are delighted to welcome Evita and Marina who will fulfil exciting and challenging roles, which I am confident they can deliver on given their extensive experience respectively with leading luxury hospitality brands.
