Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) successfully concluded its participation at the Vakantiebeurs trade show in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
The event gathered tourism authorities, travel agencies and cultural associations spanning the globe, all of whom were presented with an ideal platform to promote their travel destinations and tourism products to consumers and trade partners.
During the Vakantiebeurs event, RAKTDA representatives met with several key partners from the region including Travel Counsellors Netherlands, TUI Netherlands, Thomas Cook and Corendon Holidays.
Those visiting the RAKTDA pavilion were informed of Ras Al Khaimah’s charming beach, desert, mountain, and adventure offerings. Guests were also treated to a Virtual Reality experience, which gave them a taste of the breathtaking experience of Jebel Jais Flight: The World’s Longest Zipline on the UAE’s highest mountain.
Joining RAKTDA were a number of partners from the UAE including Emirates Airline, Toro Verde Ras Al Khaimah, Rixos Bab Al Bahr, The Cove Rotana and Hilton RAK Resort & Spa.
In order to reach its goals of attracting close to 1.5 million visitors by 2021 and three million visitors by 2025, RAKTDA will continue to create compelling offerings that combine the destination’s key features, which include pristine beaches, natural beauty, cultural heritage, excellence in hospitality and unrivalled experiences.
