Ramada Abu Dhabi Corniche and Tryp by Wyndham Abu Dhabi recently embarked on a promotional tour within the Middle East and GCC region from February 29 until March 2, 2016.

Thrilled with the outcome of the initiative, cluster director of sales & marketing, Ramada Abu Dhabi Corniche and Tryp by Wyndham Abu Dhabi, Ismail Ibrahim remarked: “The promotional tour was a comprehensive one as I covered a majority of the persons involved in the hospitality and tourism industry, primarily in Qatar, Oman and Saudi Arabia

“Additionally it was an interesting experience considering we are now closely associated with numerous colossal corporate organisations with whom we are exploring and nurturing a mutually beneficial relationship,” Ibrahim added.

Months in the making, Ibrahim was the sole participant of the promotional tour. He personally met and interacted with 230 travel agents, tourism personalities and directors of oil, industrial and commercial agents. The trip began in Saudi Arabia and also stopped off in Qatar and Oman.

Deemed a remarkable success, throughout the roadshow Ibrahim signed a number of contracts with Saudi and Qatari industrial companies including ARAMCO, SABIC, NAS Holding and Qatar Petroleum. Following these contracts, the hotels will provide holidays for their employees at Ramada Abu Dhabi Corniche during the summer season. The collaborators also endorsed the hoteliers in their private online spaces that have sent an influx of reservations and bookings within the short period of time.

Moving on, Ramada Abu Dhabi and Oman Oil Company, Travel City and Travel Points also entered into agreements of a similar nature.

Ibrahim concluded: “The GCC market is of utmost importance for the Ramada Hotel Abu Dhabi Corniche. The overwhelming response to the promotional trip is absolutely encouraging and I firmly believe that our newly formed connections are going to help further our position in the hospitality and tourism industry as well as increase our visibility on a global scale.”
