Copthorne Hotel Dubai has appointed Kranthi Kumar as its revenue manager.
In his new capacity, Kumar will be in charge of maximising overall revenue and identifying new business opportunities for the property. He will also provide analysis and recommendations on rate strategy to ensure optimum RevPAR, while managing the OTA accounts.
Kumar will have direct management of the Reservations department and will provide further training for the team, as well as exposure to the front desk to further explore revenue potential.
Prior to his current position, Kumar worked as the revenue manager at Millennium Hotel Fujairah; cluster revenue and front office manager at Novotel Riyadh Al Anoud & Novotel Suites Riyadh Dyar; and assistant cluster revenue manager at Al Faisaliah Hotel & Hotel Al Khozama, by Rosewood Hotels.
Kumar holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce and was also one of the few delegates chosen to attend the International Hospitality Management Program in France at the Academie ACCOR.
