Rixos Bab Al Bahr successfully concluded its participation at FITUR 2019 in Madrid, where it exhibited alongside Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA).
During the show, the hotel’s director of sales and marketing, Soner Yesilelma, held meetings with key industry players to promote the high-end hotel’s facilities and attract more international business.
During the event, Yesilelma and the CEO of RAKTDA, Haitham Mattar, had the opportunity to meet Felipe VI, King of Spain, who was informed of Ras Al Khaimah’s many attractions, as well as Rixos Bab Al Bahr’s signature ultra-all-inclusive concept.
The Rixos Bab Al Bahr delegation met with European, Lebanese, Jordanian and Egyptian tour operators throughout the exhibition, to exchange strategies and create new business ties. The team secured a deal with a Portuguese organisation that will be bringing a 200-person strong group to Rixos Bab Al Bahr in June.
Yesilelma enthused on the hotel’s experience at FITUR: “We were happy to participate in the premier tourism expo of Spain and were able to effectively use the platform for productive meetings and agreements with key industry players, not only from the European sector, but also other vital markets.”
