Ever expanding its portfolio of hotels, Rotana Hotel Management Corporation has 14 properties in the pipeline that are due to open before the close of 2016.
These are expected to add a total of 3,769 rooms to the company’s collection which currently contributes 13,875 rooms around the world.
The hotel group is bolstering its positioning in both Turkey and Bahrain and is marking its debut in the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo, enhancing its presence in Africa.
Commenting on this expansion was president and CEO, Rotana, Omer Kaddouri: “Rotana has a very robust development pipeline for 2016. By extending the Rotana brand into new cities while also reinforcing our market leadership in the Middle East, we have come closer to realising our ambitious vision of operating 100 hotels by 2020. With a carefully considered international development strategy in place, we are constantly looking for growth opportunities and all of these markets presented opportunities for Rotana to extend our award-winning hospitality offering.”
Kaddouri continued: “In particular, a breakthrough into Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo, is a significant landmark for Rotana as this is a new territory for us in which we will be addressing the needs of a rapidly developing market.
