Marking its second route in Turkey, joining Istanbul, on December 8, 2015, Royal Jordanian will be launching a new, direct route between Jordan’s capital city, Amman, and Ankara, to be offered three-times weekly.
These new flights are set to cater to the needs of business travellers who are travelling between Jordan and Turkey and beyond, as well as Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.
President and CEO, Royal Jordanian, Captain Suleiman Obeidat explained that the new addition to the airline’s route network pushes the number of destinations offered to 55.
He also noted that Royal Jordanian passengers flying from or to Amman can continue their travels to over 1,000 destinations served by the carrier’s partners in the oneworld airline alliance.
The new service will operate to Ankara, on Thursdays, Sundays and Tuesdays bringing the number of flights between Jordan and Turkey to between 12 and 17 weekly, depending on seasonal demand.
