Sabre rolls out seminar programme at ATM’s Travel Technology Theatre

Sabre Corporation, the leading technology provider to the travel and tourism industry, is sponsoring the Travel Technology Theatre at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM 2019), from April 28 to May 1, 2019.

Executive speakers from Sabre and guest customers will participate in the seminar programme, showcasing the latest technology in the travel and hospitality sector, including NDC, emerging technology, retailing and digitalization, and will discuss industry challenges and opportunities.

The seminar will kick off with the Glimpse into the Future: How Emerging Technology is Simplifying the Travel Experience discussion on April 28, from 13:00 to 14:00, where Sabre Lab’s senior vice president and chief scientist, Ben Vinod, will be speaking about how emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning and customer segmentation can be used to simplify and personalise the customer experience.

Virtual Payments for a Seamless Traveler Experience will follow on April 29, from 11:45 to 12:15. Strategic products sales, Sabre EMEA, Robin Boudsocq and CEO, NEC Payments, Andrew Sims will analyse about how the increased availability and acceptance of consumer technology has created the need for corporates to adapt and respond to customers’ expectations.

Smarter Business Travel – Interview with ITL World Travel will take place on April 30, from 14:00 to 14:30, where vice president, Sabre Travel Network Middle East, Abdul-Razzaq Iyer will speak to regional manager – Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, ITL World Travel, Sajish Tampi about the landscape and dynamics of the business travel sector, challenges and opportunities in the Middle East and how business travel can be smarter to elevate the traveller’s experience.
