Salalah to welcome more visitors from Eastern Europe

Having inked an agreement with Hydrotour, a leading tour operator in Slovakia, Salalah Rotana Resort is gearing up to welcome thousands of visitors, with the tour operator expected to bring forth more than 6,500 room nights and over 2,000 guests per week via charter flights from Bratislava to Salalah.

The flights, launching in March 2016, are expected to boost the number of tourists to over 30,000 annually from major European markets including Germany and Italy.

The collaboration between Salalah Rotana Resort and Hydrotour forms part of an initiative involving the Governorate of Dhofar to promote Oman as a destination of choice to fruitful Eastern European markets.
