Saudi Arabia-Kuwait ties growing from strength to strength

General Authority of Civil Aviation

The KSA-based General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) issued a statistical report on air traffic between Saudi Arabia and the State of Kuwait for 2019, which indicated an increase of 13 per cent in the number of departing and arriving passengers between the two countries compared to 2018.

The increase amounted to 1.48 million passengers, transported through 11,753 flights.
The news comes during GACA’s celebration with Kuwait of the State’s 59th National Day.

Further to this, the Kingdom’s airports continue to celebrate the 59th National Day of Kuwait under the slogan ‘renewed accord’, whereby, at King Khalid Airport in Riyadh, souvenirs were distributed, Saudi and Kuwaiti national flags were handed out to Kuwaiti arrivals and Kuwait’s national anthem was played throughout terminals.
