Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has inked an agreement with Rashid Al Abbar for a brand new Aloft property on Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah, which is expected to open in 2017.

“The UAE remains our strongest growth market in the Middle East, and this deal reinforces the demand for mid-market hotel development in the region.”
Aloft Dubai, The Palm is set to boast 192 guest rooms, including 10 suites, with plush platform beds, spacious walk-in showers and complimentary Bliss amenities.
The resort will additionally offer visitors access to a 500m stretch of beach, complete with sun beds and a gazebo.
F&B outlets will include the brand’s signature W XYZ Bar, a public space where guests can mingle over good music; re:fuel by Aloft, the ‘grab and go’ 24-hour eatery; an all-day dining outlet; and a speciality restaurant.
Adding to this, facilities include re:charge, the fully equipped fitness centre; an outdoor Splash pool; and more than 100m2 of creative space including four meeting rooms equipped with the latest audio-visual technology.
For the tech-savvy visitor, the hotel will also feature SPG Keyless – Starwood’s industry-first keyless entry system that enables guests to use their smartphone or Apple watch as a room key—and fast and free WiFi.
