Swiss-Belhotel International: Exciting plans for Vietnam in the pipeline

Swiss-Belhotel International is keenly eyeing Vietnam for expansion, with a series of new hotels, resorts and residences planned across the country.

The hospitality expert has a portfolio of 145 hotels and resorts either operating or in the pipeline in 22 countries on four continents. Of these, three are planned for Vietnam.

The first, Swiss-Belresort Tuyen Lam, which is located in the country’s Central Highlands, is home to 151 rooms, the Swiss Café restaurant and outdoor terrace, seven function rooms and extensive leisure facilities, including an 18-hole golf course.

Swiss-Belhotel International has also confirmed plans for Swiss-Belhotel Suites & Residences Ha Long Bay, which is expected to launch before the close of 2019. The hotel will offer 298 apartment-style rooms for short and extended stays, a spa, a fitness centre, swimming pools, multiple F&B outlets, a ballroom and meeting rooms.

Meanwhile, 2022 will see the launch of Swiss-Belresort Bai Dai Phu Quoc on the pristine coast of Phu Quoc – southern Vietnam’s ‘Pearl Island’. Situated on a sandy beach, the resort will house 218 rooms and villas, plus outdoor pools, a spa and a choice of dining options, including a seafood restaurant and beach club. It will also provide space for events and weddings.

Swiss-Belhotel International plans on launching at least 10 hotels in Vietnam in the next three to four years. Destinations in consideration include Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Haiphong and Danang, as well as beachfront locations such as Phu Quoc, Quy Nhon and Van Phong, and cultural sites such as Sapa and Hoi An.
