Swiss-Belhotel International: Plans in motion for Vietnam expansion

Swiss-Belhotel International has announced plans to significantly extend its foothold in Vietnam.

Currently, the group operates one hotel in Vietnam, Swiss-Belresort Tuyen Lam, an enchanting upscale retreat in the country’s Central Highlands. Blending graceful local hospitality with European style, this 151-room resort is popular among leisure travellers, golfers and meeting planners alike.

The hospitality expert is now aiming to expand its Vietnamese portfolio to at least 10 hotels and resorts by 2021, including landmark openings in important business and leisure destinations all across the country.

Swiss-Belhotel International has already signed for two new hospitality projects in the country, first of which is Swiss-Belhotel Suites & Residences Ha Long Bay, scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2019. This impressive new property will feature 350 apartment-style rooms for short and long stays, plus extensive facilities including a spa, fitness centre, swimming pools, multiple F&B outlets, a ballroom and meeting rooms.

Further down the line, Swiss-Belresort Bai Dai Phu Quoc will open its doors on the pristine coast of Phu Quoc in 2022. Nestled on a sandy beach, the resort will comprise 218 rooms and villas, plus outdoor pools, a spa and a choice of dining options, including a seafood restaurant and beach club. It will also provide space for events and weddings.
