The Oberoi, Marrakech, which is nestled among 28 acres of landscaped gardens, fragrant citrus orchards and olive groves, will be marking its grand opening on December 1, 2019.
The high-end hotel, which offers stunning vistas of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains, stands 25 minutes from Marrakech’s Djema el-Fna square and the ancient walled city.
Strongly reflecting Morocco’s rich heritage, the courtyard of the main building incorporates the design of the historic Medersa Ben Youssef, built in the 14th century.
As well as 84 spacious and luxurious rooms, suites and villas – 76 of which have large private pools and private gardens, the hotel boasts three restaurants: The Oberoi Spa, which is located on a natural water body and is surrounded by orchards; a children’s activity centre; and a 300m2 function room and smaller meeting rooms for social and corporate events.
Executive chairman, The Oberoi Group, P.R.S. commented on the project: “We are delighted to announce the opening of The Oberoi, Marrakech.
