On his promotion, Gopal said: “The energy of the team at The Retreat is something I love, and I am excited to further evolve my position in the hotel. My primary focus will be to enrich the wellness offerings by adding new pillars to further create immersive and memorable wellbeing experiences for wellness lovers, corporate groups, government accounts and niche communities.”

Gupta, on the other hand, has over two decades of housekeeping experience, having previously worked for international and local hospitality chains in the Middle East and Asia. Before joining The Retreat Palm Dubai, she was the executive housekeeper at Ramada Plaza Hotel. In her current role, Gupta oversees the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department and maintains its recognised high standards of service.

“I’m delighted to take the position as executive housekeeper at The Retreat,” Gupta enthused. “It’s a concept I love, and I am so happy to be part of this team. I’m looking forward to a busy season as we are looking forward to welcoming guests around the globe.”
