Elevating its already luxurious offering, The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul has officially launched The Ritz-Carlton Suite, following a two-year renovation project spanning all rooms and event spaces.
The stunning suite, found on the 14th floor of the hotel, spans 240m2 and boasts floor-to-ceiling windows granting views across the Bosphorus. The reimagination of the suite was taken on by well-known Turkish architect, Hakan Yürüoğlu, who was also in charge of the redevelopment of all banqueting areas, including the ballroom.
The Ritz-Carlton Suite mirrors Istanbul and its heritage, with gold and copper tones, combined with rich blues, while a fabulous mix of materials, such as stone, wood and metal, have been utilised.
General manager, The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul, Nicolas Kipper enthused: “The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul is a magnificent hotel. Our mission for this important project was to embrace the heritage of the city and marry it with a contemporary spirit to create a beautiful combination of the East and West influences that are found in Istanbul.”
The refreshed suite boasts a luxuriously appointed King bedroom, a separate living room and a working space, as well as a spa hot tub with views of the Bosphorus and two full marble bathrooms with rain showers and soaking tubs. Those opting to stay in this suite will enjoy a 42-inch flat-screen IPTV as well as complimentary access to the exclusive Club Lounge.
