Travelport and Saudi Arabia’s Al Hashim Travel have formed a new and exclusive long term agreement.
Al Hashim Travel will now significantly benefit from Travelport Smartpoint, a merchandising and desktop technology, which aims to improve the selling experience for travel agents.
The software allows agents to sell airline tickets as well as the branded fares and ancillaries of over 400 airlines, including network and low cost carriers.
Meanwhile, more than 650,000 unique hotel properties and 36,000 car rental locations are available through Travelport’s Travel Commerce Platform.
CEO, Al Hashim Travel, Abbas AlSaleh commented on the news: “This exclusive deal with Travelport provides a great opportunity for our business to advance our operations.”

Al Hashim Travel, located in the Eastern province of Saudi Arabia, currently has 10 branches in the region. The agency is planning to further bolster is footprint in Saudi Arabia this year.
