Travelport has recently formed alliances with a number of Abu Dhabi-based travel agencies including Safe Travel, Rahlty Travel and Orient House Travel.
Safe Travel, a member of the Al Hamid Group, specialises in customised, tailor-made and complex itineraries for both individual clients and groups; Rahlty Travel is a full service travel provider which specialises in the creation of unique packages to a variety of destinations in Europe, Asia, America and Middle East; and Orient House Travel is a respected travel management company in the UAE, known for being a market leader and trend setter.
Following an in depth technology workshop and live demonstrations of Travelport’s technology and travel commerce platform capabilities, a signing ceremony took place at Travelport’s Beirut office in Lebanon.
The new customers signed long-term agreements which grant them access to Travelport’s travel content inventory which spans air, hotel, rail and car. The travel agents will benefit from the merchandising capabilities of the company’s award-winning point of sale solution, Travelport Smartpoint.
