True Muslim app launched in time for Ramadan

In light of the Holy Month, True Muslim app, a free and brand new comprehensive Islamic app for android has been launched.

Designed by a team of Kashmir and Beijing-based designers and engineers, the new app aims to serve the needs of the global Muslim community.

True Muslim aims to benefit those who are travelling, at work or at home, especially during Ramadan. The app allows users to keep track of Iftar and Suhour times, recite or listen to holy Quran at their convenience and or find mosques or outlets serving halal food in the vicinity when travelling.

True Muslim grants users free and unlimited access to all its features. Other features include Azan/Adhan alarms, customisable Islamic greeting cards, on-demand 18 global Islamic FM stations/Quran radio, Islamic wallpapers, Islamic (Hijri) calendar, Qibla compass and much more.

Director operations, True Muslim, Dr. Shafak H. noted: “We believe that 1.6 billion Muslims around the world deserve a better product with high quality standards and easy accessibility, something often lacking in most of the apps in this category. At the moment, we are focusing on the basics. In the near future we plan to add some functions that will take True Muslim app to an entirely new level.”

The app is made available in English, Arabic, Indonesian, German, French and Russian. More languages will follow.
