Turkey was represented by the Turkey Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) during the recent World Travel Market Virtual.
TGA’s ongoing mission is to promote Turkey as an attractive destination for both domestic and international travel by shedding light on its natural, cultural, biological and man-made heritage. The agency attended WTM London to help Turkey achieve its tourism objectives and to promote and market its tourism potential worldwide in line with the tourism strategies and policies defined by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
During WTM Virtual, TGA met with about 100 stakeholders, comprising travel agencies, tour operators, members of the press and influencers, to inform them of its many products and strategies.
Other Turkish entities participating in WTM Virtual included the Turkish Culture and Tourism London Office, ELA Resort, Corendon Airlines, Turkish Healthcare Travel Council and Turkish Airlines.
WTM Virtual hosted participants from various parts of the world with live conference sessions and forums, as well as individual meetings for three days. Topics such as the road to recovery and the new trends and innovations shaping the future of the industry post-pandemic were discussed.
