Kouris declared: “Each and every item that makes it to our menu is traditionally Greek in its truest sense. We have curated incredible recipes sourced from all over Greece which incorporate home cooking and complex techniques that have been perfected over centuries. We are serving an amalgamation of culture, history, and love composed through exquisite cuisine. You can feel the embrace of a mother, the bustle of a household, all tied together with mouth-watering aromas and flavours that is Greek food.”

Chef Rapatas is well-known for his Mediterranean influenced, visually stunning salads, featuring colourful vegetables and meats. Guests can feast on family-style meals and fusion desserts that capture the essence of the season.

Kouris said: “As seen in Emirati culture, sharing food is so important in Greece, with eating being a way to bring family and friends together.”

Mazi’s menu features four salads with sensational red mullet carpaccio, hints of lemon zest and fennel. Each hot plate is a novelty with fresh calamari, courgette plates and grandmama’s meatballs. The signature grilled octopus served with a scrumptious potato salad is a standout, as are the Black Truffle chicken and Shredded Lamb dishes.

For dessert, Mazi serves up delicious Loukoumades, and Pistachio and Mastiha Parfait.

“You may know some Greek dishes, you may have travelled to Greece and Mazi Abu Dhabi is both a perfect memory of your favourites and an introduction to an exquisite collection that spans a world of Greek cuisine. Real Greek cuisine has soul. It is filled with great passion for fresh produce, ingredients and flavours,” Kouris concluded.
