US, Europe and China to welcome six flagship Crowne Plaza hotels by early 2020

Gearing up for exciting expansion, Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts will be launching six flagship properties in the US, Europe and China by early 2020.

The new hotels will strongly emphasise the evolution of the globally recognised Crowne Plaza brand, which aims to become the number one choice for business class stays.
The new Crowne Plaza flagship of the Americas, Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter at Ravinia, reopened its doors in April 2019 following a complete transformation.

Meanwhile in Europe, Paris will be welcoming the Crowne Plaza Paris Republique, Hamburg will warmly embrace the Crowne Plaza Hamburg – City Alster and Crowne Plaza London -Heathrow will reopen in London as a new flagship in 2020.
Two additional flagship properties are scheduled to open in China by late 2019: Crowne Plaza Shenzhen Nanshan and Crowne Plaza Wuzhen.

The new flagship hotels will comprise of fresh designs for public spaces and guestrooms. The lobby design and guestrooms include distinct areas featuring technology, allowing for efficient working environments. Select flagship properties will feature the flexible lobby areas with on-demand meeting spaces – a result of the demand for greater flexibility when doing business or transitioning to downtime.

At the end of March 2019 there were 427 Crowne Plaza properties and nearly 120,000 rooms around the world.
