Rotana has promoted Sam El Asmar to the position of corporate vice president – revenue and distribution.
El Asmar first joined the Rotana group in 2012, with 14 years of experience in hotel revenue management and distribution. Prior to his promotion, he held the position of corporate director of revenue.
In his new position, El Asmar will be in charge of defining and setting the revenue strategy for all new Rotana openings in 2017, and overseeing the rollout of the company’s Ideas G3 revenue management system. He will also be responsible for enhancing Rotana’s revenue platform with automated tools and comprehensive business analysis, and enlarging the company’s distribution network.
Throughout his career, El Asmar has worked with leading international hotel brands such as Hilton Hotels & Resorts and Concorde Hotels & Resorts.
He holds an MBA in Hospitality Management IMHI from ESSEC Business School in Paris.
