Barceló Gulf, partner of Barceló Hotel Group in the Middle East, has welcomed Ahmad Shaban Fernandez to its team as vice president sales and marketing.
The Jordanian-Spanish national brings valuable experience in regional and local markets to his new role, having worked with Marriott Hotels International, Rotana Hotels, InterContinental Hotels Group and Melia Hotels International.
He will now be responsible for establishing commercial targets for the entirety of the region and developing strategic plans based on the brand’s long-term objectives.
