Following the successful launch of ‘WHAT SHE SAID’ by W Hotels in Dubai this March (a four-part series featuring speeches from inspirational women from the worlds of fashion, music, design, fitness and more), W Amman is set to host its very own version on July 10, 2018.
W debuted ‘WHAT SHE SAID’ in the Middle East & Africa on International Women’s Day as a four-part series taking place across multiple W hotels in the region.
“We are thrilled to be hosting the ‘WHAT SHE SAID’ conversation in Amman, yet another city in the Middle East with inspiring women and inspiring stories,” said vice president, luxury brand marketing and management, Marriott International, Middle East & Africa, Candice D’Cruz.
‘WHAT SHE SAID’ at W Amman will focus on W’s passion for fashion and design, featuring three influential and successful women – Reem Habyeb, Farah Hourani and Fairouz Taqi El Din. The panel discussion will be moderated by the founder and creative director, CIIN (an online fashion editorial magazine targeting the modern Arab Woman), Suhad Shtayyeh.
Habyeb is the winner of the Global Citizen Prize and the co-creator of the ceramic company, Silsal, while Hourani is a talented Jordanian fashion designer. El Din is the lead coordinator of the collaboration between IKEA and the Jordan River Foundation designs.
Following the speaker panel, guests will then be invited for an exclusive masterclass on make-up, an art form in itself, where participants will learn tips from local make-up artist, Nada Al Agha.
Through ‘WHAT SHE SAID’, W gives incredible women at the top of their game a stage to share their personal stories at W hotels around the world. The event is open to females on a first come first served basis, with the aim to inspire and ignite the audience in an unfiltered and uniquely W way.
