The You Go Morocco 2018 event has attracted over 50 leading travel and tourism entities from the UAE, GCC, Middle East and Asia.
Dedicated to promoting family tourism in Morocco, the week-long show was organised by the Morocco National Tourist Office for the Middle East in partnership with Nirvana Travel and Tourism, with more than 200 officials and professionals representing industry stakeholders in attendance.
Moroccan tourist attractions, heritage sites, luxury hotels, resorts, an extensive assortment of accommodation options, and entertainment facilities took the spotlight at the workshops, held from October 14-18 in Casablanca.
The campaign was designed specifically with the regional market in mind, and focused on encouraging delegations from the UAE and the GCC region to promote Moroccan tourism and its specialised touristic offerings within the regional communities.
“You Go Morocco 2018 provides an ideal platform for Gulf-Indian travel and tourism organisations with plenty of opportunities for business partnerships and agreements,” director, Morocco National Tourist Office – Middle East and Asia, Mohamed Sadiq Shaker remarked.
“The tour aims to increase cooperation between travel companies from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Egypt, Jordan and India, and its Moroccan counterparts, which is vital in boosting the number of inbound tourists and touristic investments to Morocco.”
He revealed a comprehensive, year-long strategy has been produced to further raise awareness among the UAE, the GCC region, the Middle East and Asia on the developed tourist opportunities in Morocco.
